How To Use Xhorse FCA 12+8 Universal Adapter?
You are supposed to see this message when scanning a for Chrysler with the Security Gateway Module(SGW): Device is unable to communicate with the control unit.
No worries, please follow the steps below to quickly solve this problem:
Step 1: Locate and unplug the 12-pin and 8-pin connectors of the SGW module.
Step2: Connect the FCA 12+8 Adapter directly to the 12-pin and 8-pin connectors (two connectors that are connected to the SGW) on the car.
Then the normal communication function with the vehicle can be achieved.
