Difference between "Special Tools" in the menu and “Special Function” under a car brand:

 

1. Special functions in the menu "Special Tools"

If you choose any special function in the menu "Special Tools", then you can perform this function for the car brands models developed in the list.

 

For example, users go to Special Functions in the main menu for oil reset, they can reset oil for all cars listed there like BMW, Toyota, Honda and cannot go to diagnosis or others. 

 

2. Special functions under a car brand model

If you go to the special car brand, whether it can perform any special function and what specific special functions it can perform, it depends on the iCarScan development.

 

For example, you go to BMW software, there must be lots of functions including Special Functions. Then, you can select Oil Reset for the BMW model.

1. The iCarScan comes without software in the package, only hardware! After you receive the device, scan the QR code at the back of the package, download and install the APP, then register user account with your valid email address and password, then active the device with the serial number and password. And you can download to any 10 brands car software free of charge.
